Hemophilia

Hemophilia is a genetic bleeding disorder that prevents the blood from clotting normally. The main symptom for this disorder is uncontrolled, often spontaneous bleeding. Internal bleeding in the joints can result in pain and swelling. If left untreated, it can cause permanent damage to the affected parts.

Children’s Cancer Foundation is dedicated in serving the needs of children with hemophilia and related bleeding disorders such as von willebrand disorder and others.

CCF Services:

  • Provide free factor replacement and health care services for financially backward patients.
  • Motivate the affected families for physiotherapy and dental care.
  • Providing Free Physiotherapy Clinic in association with Dr Uday Raj(Tuesdays, Thursdays  and Saturdays 5PM to 7PM @ CCF HTC). Those interested are requested to contact Dr Ramana Dandamudi for assessment.
  • Conduct awareness and multi-disciplinary clinics at Little Stars Children’s Hospital and hospitals around Hyderabad.
